When Embedded Fits
Embedded is the water security program for organizations that need the physical assets on the balance sheet. The driver is usually financial or structural rather than technical: capital budgets that can fund equipment more readily than a recurring service line, funding tied to asset ownership, or an internal policy that treatment equipment on site must be owned on site.
It applies across the same duties as every other program shape, wastewater sterilization and mine process water among them. The treatment mechanism is identical to a Proactive program; only the ownership boundary moves, and with it the accounting treatment and the shape of the agreement. Sites with no balance sheet requirement generally find Proactive the simpler arrangement.

What you get
Owned Platforms, Run By Axbold
The client acquires Guardian platforms sized against its own water data and holds them as capital assets. Each platform infuses 171.9 LPM (45.4 GPM) of gas at 90% mass transfer into the fluid and produces 220 million nanobubbles per mL at an average bubble size of 76 nm, independently measured by NanoSight nanoparticle tracking analysis. Air-cooled and in-line configurations are available alongside the floating submersible enclosure.
Ownership is meant to be low-consequence, and the specification supports that. The enclosure is IP68-rated Grade 316 stainless steel and the platform is designed to float and submerge in seawater or freshwater. Energy is the largest recurring cost of running the platform continuously, and the Guardian uses 79% less of it than conventional nanobubble units. An asset with an operating profile that flat is easier to model across a depreciation horizon than one whose cost is set by how often it fails.
Axbold retains the maintenance program so that owning the equipment does not become an operations burden. Testing and data services continue for the life of the asset, and a change in sizing as the site changes is handled inside the program rather than as a new procurement.

How it is structured
Owned Asset, Managed Program
Embedded splits the engagement in two parts. The client takes ownership of the platforms and carries them as capital assets; Axbold runs the maintenance program that keeps them performing across their working life. Responsibility for servicing, monitoring and data stays with Axbold under the program even though the equipment does not.
The maintenance commitment is deliberately small: two moving parts, roughly 90% less servicing time than conventional nanobubble units require, and a quarterly checkup capped at one hour per unit. For a capitalized asset that matters twice — it is the operating cost line, and it is the reason a 10 year depreciation horizon is not quietly underwritten by an unplanned repair budget.

Common questions
What does Axbold remain responsible for once the client owns the systems?
The maintenance program. Axbold performs the quarterly checkups, capped at one hour per unit, and continues the monitoring, testing and data reporting that are built into every water security program. Ownership of the hardware transfers; responsibility for keeping it performing does not.
How long is the asset expected to last?
The Guardian has a 10 year useful life, and that is the figure a depreciation schedule is built against. Any site-specific factors that could affect service life are raised during characterization rather than after installation.
Can a site move between Embedded and the other programs?
The three programs describe different commercial shapes over the same platform, so the treatment does not change when the arrangement does. A site can begin with an Emergent project to clear an active threat and then move to Embedded once a capital route is available, or run Proactive while a capital request is prepared. The right sequence is worked out during program design.
