When A Proactive Program Fits
Proactive mitigates risks to water security with efficient aquatic resilience programs. It is built for water that is currently within tolerance and needs to stay there. The pattern is usually familiar to the site: dissolved oxygen sags through the warm months, algae establishes in the same corner of the same pond every year, and the operating team absorbs the consequence as a seasonal fact of life.
A persistent program treats that cycle as an engineering condition with a fixed asset behind it rather than a recurring emergency. Running the platform around the clock is what makes that possible. Energy is the largest recurring cost of doing so, and the Guardian uses 79% less of it than conventional nanobubble units. Gas delivery runs at 3,437 gas liters per kWh (908 gas gallons per kWh), and the platform can be powered by solar panels where the grid does not reach the shoreline.

What The Program Delivers
A Proactive program places one or more Guardian platforms on the water body itself and runs them continuously against an agreed target. Each unit infuses 171.9 LPM (45.4 GPM) of gas at 90% mass transfer into the fluid and produces 220 million nanobubbles per mL, roughly 1 billion per teaspoon, at an average bubble size of 76 nm, independently measured by NanoSight nanoparticle tracking analysis.
Gas selection is the control variable and it follows the characterization work rather than a default. Natural air nanobubbles activate aerobic growth for healthier water, oxygen nanobubbles improve oxygen transfer efficiency by 80,000 times, and ozone nanobubbles shred toxins at the functional group level. Because the nanobubbles are electrically charged, highly pressurized and can stay in solution for months, treatment persists through the water column instead of dissipating at the point of injection.
Sizing follows the characterization. The measured volume and turnover of the water body set the unit count against the platform's published throughput, and the contaminant and dissolved oxygen data set the gas. Testing continues through the program term, so the target stays anchored to measurement as conditions on the water change.

How it is structured
Program, Not Purchase
Proactive is a persistent service rather than an equipment sale. Axbold supplies, deploys, operates and maintains the Guardian platforms for the duration of the program. The client buys a defined service cadence measured against an agreed water quality target, and no capital equipment lands on the client balance sheet.
Axbold monitors the deployed platforms, performs the servicing and reports the water data back against the range agreed at the start, so the operating team's involvement is reviewing results rather than running a treatment asset. Unit count and gas configuration can be revised inside the program as the water or the site changes, which is handled as program design rather than as a fresh procurement.

Common questions
Who owns the equipment in a Proactive program?
Axbold does. The Guardian platforms remain Axbold assets throughout the program, along with responsibility for deployment, operation and maintenance. Clients who need the physical assets on their own balance sheet should look at the Embedded program instead.
How much attention does the program need from site staff?
Minimal. The Guardian has two moving parts and requires roughly 90% less servicing time than conventional nanobubble units, and the standard cadence is a quarterly checkup capped at one hour per unit. Axbold performs the checkup and the monitoring, so the site's own commitment is receiving and acting on the reporting rather than operating the equipment.
Can a Proactive program run at a site without a convenient grid connection?
Often, yes. Each platform operates on 2.7 kWh and can be powered by solar panels, and at roughly 82 pounds and 37 by 12 by 8 inches it needs less supporting equipment and space than a fixed installation. Feasibility is confirmed during characterization and sizing.
How is Proactive different from an Emergent project?
Proactive is a persistent service run as an ongoing program on water that is within tolerance. Emergent is a temporary service run as a project on water that is already out of tolerance, with a defined start and completion. Sites frequently move from Emergent into Proactive once the immediate threat has been cleared.
